Data Deletion Request

Holiday Matrix Private Limited (“Holiday Matrix”) respects your right to privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request the deletion of personal data that Holiday Matrix collected through Facebook Login (Meta App ID: our Facebook application) or any other interaction with our platform.

1. What Data We Collect via Facebook Login

When you authenticate with Holiday Matrix using your Facebook account, we collect only the following information:

• Name — from your Facebook public profile, used to personalise your experience on holidaymatrix.co.in
• Email address — used to send booking confirmations and service communications
• Facebook User ID — a unique identifier used solely to authenticate your session; we do not share this with third parties
• Profile picture (public) — displayed within your account dashboard if applicable

We do not collect your Facebook friends list, posts, messages, likes, check-ins, or any sensitive categories of data. We request only the minimum permissions required to provide our travel planning services.

2. How to Remove Holiday Matrix Access from Facebook

You can immediately revoke Holiday Matrix's access to your Facebook data at any time directly through Facebook — no need to contact us first:

1. Log in to your Facebook account at facebook.com
2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings
3. Click Security and Login in the left sidebar
4. Scroll down and click Apps and Websites
5. Find Holiday Matrix in the list of connected apps
6. Click Remove and confirm the action

Removing the app from Facebook immediately stops any further data access. This does not automatically delete data already stored on Holiday Matrix's servers — follow Step 3 below to request that.

3. How to Request Deletion of Your Data from Holiday Matrix

To request permanent deletion of all personal data Holiday Matrix holds about you, send an email to us with the subject line “Data Deletion Request — Facebook Login”:

4. What Happens After You Submit a Request

• We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours of receipt
• Your personal data — including your Facebook profile information, email, and session records linked to your Facebook User ID — will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days
• You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
• We will retain only the data that we are legally required to keep under Indian law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes) for the minimum required period
• Deletion of your data is irreversible — we cannot restore deleted data after the process is complete

5. Data That Cannot Be Deleted

Certain data may be exempt from deletion to comply with applicable law:

• Transactional and financial records required by Indian GST and income tax regulations (retained for up to 7 years)
• Data that is part of an active legal dispute or regulatory investigation
• Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you individually
